So love your videos Aaron! An avid crate hacker myself and I have to say that the hacker style completely changed my mindset and I can totally see the difference in my gigs! I honestly don't understand how people can listen to the radio anymore. Same ten songs on repeat with constant interruption by commercials, random DJ talk and jingles. Even before smart phones i would just listen to college radio or NPR. I used to enjoy listening to Roy Barboza's "back in the day buffet" lunchtime mixes and the Friday night live mixes he would do. They used to let him pick his own songs and it was great. Then they forced play lists on him and kept interrupting with commercials, totally killed the vibe. It was a shame, he was the only live mixing radio DJ that used proper phrasing, not that echo out/shout out crap they did in NY.... Anyway, rant over
