I always found it hard when people said: "Bring your filmmaking ideas to life now!"
I thought I needed a bigger crew, and that I wasn't a good enough of a filmmaker to bring my ideas to life. But then one day I decided to just do it. I decided to follow my gut feeling, and make that documentary I had been planning for six months.
I made a self doc with my Sony FX3 and FX6, and I thought it came out pretty good. This is how I did it!
And just as an FYI: this video was shot just after I made the doc. I have saved it until now, but I think it's still relevant.
