A few months back I made what I thought would be my best film ever, but I had to delete my film. This is how you can learn from my mistake.
We should not listen to haters, but sometimes the haters might be right. I had a bad situation where I had to be brutally honest with myself as a filmmaker. I had to face the reality, and realize that I messed up.

Hey! as a fellow filmmaker I can relate to this soo much! Just as you I also messed up a project, for which I spent a whole year working on it. But now, I just feel like I don't want to upload that film. This video really helped me alot! After watching this, it made me feel that I am not the only one with this problem. Greetings from Sydney, Kris. My G.P. encouraged me to post videos to my several RU-vid channels strictly on the condition that I turned comments off. So I have never received a comment on what I share. Sure, it probably messes with the algorithm if you want to let the algorithm dictate to you. In fact in writing this and bingeing your content, I am procrastinating on editing an overdue video on my @canoedownunder channel where I talk specifically about why my comments are turned off! Comments (like this) are for the commenters benefit… not for the creator like you. Ignore RU-vid comments… just create and socialise the best work you are capable of on any given day/week. Love your work and appreciate your honesty in sharing your self-critique. Looking forward to seeing how you evolve. Liked and subscribed. 👍

I am so sorry for not replying until now! I think what you're saying is great. But I also made a choice when I put myself out there, and I guess for now I am just taking the consequences. For good or bad. But in this case I have to say the comment really helped me!
