Speaking as someone who only wanted to know how these rings are made, I want to tell you that you are a great teacher. Thank you for going into such detail and for sharing little bits of knowledge that you’ve picked up while mastering this craft. The pride in your work shows here in the video and in your finished products. Love your work! 👍 👍 👍
@@PatrickAdairSuppliesThanks, guys, but I don't use FB (and neither should anybody). I don't want my information gathered and sold any more than it already is and I live right near their HQ. They are not good people....
amzn.to/42GmcUS This one works great, just a standard starter kit from Dremel. It's a plug in version so if you want a portable battery one, that is just a little more.
Hi! Are you using any water when sanding? In your other videos, the quick clip ones, you are using a lot of water when sanding and here you don't so i wanted to understand the difference, thank you!
Always good to use a lot of water when heating up the ring (Using a dremel, sanding, etc). Over heating the CA glue can cause melting or other bad effects I believe. Water also helps to remove debris from scratching the material. Always use lots of water - it can't hurt.
If you’re still curious, go to the supplies website (patrickadairsupplies.com) and one of the items that you can’t actually buy is called Additional Tools and Supplies. The item’s description is a list of the tools he recommends.
