I unravel the mystery of folding fabric into a Scandinavian Star Ornamnent in this video.
They are fun gifts for quilters or anyone who sews, especially if you make them from their favorite fabric or color, or both!
Thank you for watching! If you like what you see I'd love a "Thumbs Up."
I would like to thank Heidi Sonboul for providing this DIY playlist and this opportunity. Here is the link to her playlist: • Christmas DIY Challeng...

Ok who is old enough here to remember doing this with gum wrappers? We use to fold the paper and foil wrappers on a stick of gum and we use to make stars and Jacob ladder bracelets. We use to save all the wrappers in packs of gum just so we could make stuff. Now we are doing it with fabric....👍

@@apylinski yeah👍 me and my friend got so into it. We were saving all kinds of wrappers and different colors and the foil made cool looking stuff. We use to make star earrings with wire hooks..lol

We used to make love chains with this method. Supposedly you take one chain off for every kiss you shared with someone you liked! I made mine several feet long, but never kissed anyone. I was only about 12 years old.

For the other Stars, what are the measurements for the small & medium-sized stars? Have you tried making these Stars with paper? How do you attach your cords? Thanks for sharing!
@sisterchicksquilting
@sisterchicksquilting Год назад
The strips on the smaller stars are 4" folded to a 1" wide strip the large gold one uses a 6" wide strip folded to a 1 1/2" strip. As for the leagth?!?!? I jsut make em" long. I hope this helps and happy star making! Thanks for watching my channel!
