Hey neighbor! I live right down from you on the opposite corner! I'm looking into making our cart street legal. But the more I look, the more I think I'll keep riding dirty! Haha.
You probably need all that stuff. Where your areas but here in Jacksonville, it says all I need is headlights turn signals seatbelts, rear lights in the rearview mirror and the windshield but that’s all.
Are there turn signals by the headlights or just the mirror ones? My 2015 Drive PTV has factory halogen headlights, and brake lights, but no turn signals. It seems if I buy the aftermarket turn signal kit, I would have to modify the wiring to what I currently have or swap out the headlights/tail lights.
Hello, wanted to understand about parking brake. The units as shown in the video seem to be related to mechanical brakes most probably 2 nos on the rear axle. Is there a requirement or a system/device for parking brake suitable for hydraulic brakes? Besides, Tail Light head light need to be DOT compliance as well as the safety belt ?
@@BrandonActionJackson Do you mean the bill of sale for when the golf cart was brand new? Or can it be on the bill of sale when you have bought a golf cart second hand? If I buy a used golf cart on marketplace and the seller hand writes a bill of sale with all the items on the bill of sale, will this work?
If I buy a golf cary that’s street legal ready. Can I just put on the bill of sale it came with A,B,C and D and avoid the invoice process? Also do you know how much total cost it is after the dmv fees?
Yes you can but you have to list EVERY item and not miss one part ESPECIALLY the parking brake that already comes in the cart. But you’ve gotta pay the taxes when you get it titled and then once you go to the dmv you have to pay 300 dollars for a new car on the road fee and this is of course after you’ve purchased lsv insurance
My wife and I have read the statute over and over . It does not say anything about a “dot” windshield. It also doesn’t say anything about a wiper or a triangle. Can you explain please?
