Great recipe. Klas really should be saying celeriac. Celery and celeriac are closely related, but celery is the plant with the tall, bright green stalks topped off with some small leaves and celeriac is cultivated for its bulbous root.
Nigel Horsley celery and celeriac come from the same species of plant, but with one variation. Both can cultivate green stalk, but the one he is using - variant rapaceum - is more commonly utilized for its large bulb. He’s perfectly fine calling it celery if he so pleases.
So happy your making more videos. As an American who has been living in Germany for almost 10 years. I love attempting to make german food for my family when I visit America. Maybe you can do a video on making spätzle from scratch becuase the store bought spätzle stinks
Klas, it's very cute how you say "Please subscribe my channel" :) In English you would actually say "Please subscribe TO my channel." Great video -- look forward to more!
Carl Gomm this is actually called celery root (commonly also called celeriac)! EDIT: I found out that Meijer sells celery root as well as Trader Joe’s and World Market! It’s been a few years since I have had to buy any myself, sorry for any confusion!
Thanks for sharing German recipes. I visit Germany for work occasionally and love the food there. It would be great if you could actually use the German terms rather than English ones!
It‘s A machine frommkenwood. I don‘t know if you still can buy it, because I got it as a present more than ten years ago. As I‘m not sponsered, I just use my normal, old kitchen-stuff 😉
