This is very helpful. Sometimes I start off by planning to make a scarf, for example, and then change my mind and want to make it a hat. I would normally just frog all the work I did and start again. Not a good use of my time, I know. Thank you, thank you! As a beginner, I appreciate your video.

I don't put waste yarn when I make a basic hat. I made this video because I had a request on a previous video on how to finish a hat if by mistake you start with waste yarn.

Starting a hat with waste yarn is NOT a mistake, it’s a very helpful rule, so why are you saying “mistake”? No one starts waste yarn just “by mistake”. I am confused too.
