Super easy to follow this tutorial! My skirt turned out exactly as planned. The only thing I’d do differently next time is to attach the waistband casing to the skirt lining before attaching the tulle. 10/10
I found a way to calculate the yardage of tulle. Because I wondered how I could practice on my miniature mannequin so I came up with the formula. Hip Cir (44") X 6.55" = 288.2"which is 8yards for each layer) For the total yardage of Tulle for this project 288.2 X number of layers(5)= 1441"(Approx.40yards)
Why have you not gone viral to a million views for your items. Your absolutely brilliant wish I'd found you before but I'm here now. I will share your stuff x
Hi there! This is very beautiful. Can you please explain how to sew the tulle down seeing as you have sewn the skirt close before adding the tulle. Please explain for me as I need to make a skirt to wear for a wedding. Thank you
Hello ! Thank you for you video ! I never sew before and I have a project of a skirt like this, do you think I can do it ? Also I have a question, is it possible to do this skirt but not high low ? Thank you again 😊😊
Love the tutorial. However, I have a question, I noticed you measured the waist circumference for the waist and used elastic. Did you later cut the waist larger to pull over the hips?
So, I saw you marked the waist 9” on the fold and add another one on the fold would be 27” plus the 1.5” added would be 33”. Is 33” the hip measurement?
