Sewing machine
Sharp fabric scissors
Sewing straight pins
Yardstick
Chalk
20 yards of tulle
4 yards of a firm light weight fabric same color as Tulle
Matching sturdy thread
Elastic band or belt (you can sew through)

You are truly talented! Love the content. I’ve picked up sewing and it’s been really helpful. Question…. The description says to use a 20 yards of tulle. So just to be sure, I’m taking 18yds (6 for 20”, 6 for 15”, and 6 for 10”) from the 20, correct? Also, do I fold the 6yds while the tulle is still folded in half on the cardboard or do I unfold it and then make the square? Thanks in advance.☺️

Great morning. Great video. I have one question. When you say add 5in to the waist. Do you mean 5in to the measurement you came up with and add it to your waist band, or add it to the actual half circle measurement you came up with? Meaning if my measurement came up to 8.5 because I am making a skirt for a 54 in waist, do I need to add 5 to that 8.5 before I cut out that half circle or 5in to the waist band when I create that? I usually make tulle skirts but not adding that extra 5. I would like to try your skirt because I think it's super dope. Please let me know when you can. Have a blessed day. Take care.

Hi, I have a question. Did you go all the way around the base fabric to add ruffles to the inside of the dress or can the plain fabric be seen from the front? Does this make a difference or am I make it more difficult in my head?

Dayna Faw hello! You can not see the base fabric from the front. Just keep the ruffles on the outside of the base fabric. I hope this helps.

Hello ma'am, so beautiful, for someone that doesn't like thier thighs exposed what inches do you suggest using for the front instead of 10 inches. And then do you increase the inches of the other two like the 20 " and 15"?

Hi Fashionista! You can make it as long as you want. I suggest you take a measuring tape and measure from your belly button down. That will be your measurement for the entire from of the skirt. It will also be the same measurement for the 2 sides on the back part of the skirt, where the front and back meet. Please let me know how your skirt came out. Make sure you subscribe more to come.
