Thank you for this tutorial, especially the finishing and starting new threads, that makes such a difference to a project but very few people seem to show how to do it. I’m trying to use up my fabric stash and make things I can keep in a present drawer for when I need them and this is a brilliant idea for that! ❤

From the US - it took awhile to de-confuse my brain. In the US, calico is a small print, not a solid fabric. I kept looking for the printed fabric! :)
