How to make a Khan Academy style educational video 

Hi Everyone, another company bought the rights to Sketchbook so it is no longer free. I would recommend Krita as an alternative. Also, if you are using Windows try using Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) to capture your screen.

Thanks for the video! If one has a pc or windows software do you have any suggestions for software similar to quicktime that can record the whiteboard from the sketchbook software and also software that can edit the whiteboard so you dont get to see the toolbars around it and background p;ictures? I was hoping for another suggestion besides OBS. Thanks -- Avi

Screenshot app on my MacBook Pro 2020 is able to record entire screen in 2880x1800 resolution, but crashes when I record selected portion in 1280x720 resolution... It must be a bug in Screenshot app, since Screenflow app has no problem recording a part of the screen

@mr.H I have a question, what program are you using to DEMONSTRATE and record everything? I like how you can zoom in for a close up on the tools, I like how it does everything. I saw that you use quicktime for recording your screen but I cannot tell if you have another program or what program/tool allows you to zoom in and get a closer look at different areas of your screen...does that make sense? Sir is it a mouse you use for the writing or do you have a light pen because it's just so clean and detail, a mouse can't certainly sketch that good
