How do you make such intricate amd yet thin pieces hold form like that ? Like the divider piece fins are covered with leather yet you can't see a wrinkle or a seam anywhere. I'd love to see the techniques behind this build !
So Beautiful. There are no various fountain pen cases in Korea that carry large pens such as Montblanc 149. So I made a fountain pen case with my father who does leather craft as a hobby. It was shown to the fountain pen lovers around, who filmed and uploaded a video on RU-vid to show many people the process of making it. I'd like to improve my pen case further to make a good quality pen case.
Loves your design and your craftsmanship! I could totally be wrong as I couldn't grab a very clear picture of that side of the piece. If I'm wrong I'm really quite sorry. Though I hate to see a pen getting scratched up., I couldn't see it very clearly but I think I saw you have the meat side of the leather against the pen, the fiber on that side of the leather could trap hard debris and scratch the pen. Being a fountain pen collector and a leather craftsman myself, I highly urge you to have add a layer of leather or considering the thickness most fountain pen clip takes, some sort of fabric lining. Again loves your video, just an advice!
