I have been watching your videos for about 9 years now. I was 12 years old and in a few months I will be 21. Thank you so much for continuing to make these videos. It seems a few months ago you where having some troubles with founds for the projects, I’m happy to see that you “seem” to be doing better in that regards. Thank you for all the content over the years and the constant enjoyment you have given everyone over all this time. Truly impressive. Don’t stop man, thank you so much all your videos will always worth a watch, take care man and know that you will always have solid viewers to fall back on to keep up the amazing work! Sometimes people don’t hear that enough so I hope that this message makes your hard work and time worth it!

@@WilliamJakespeareProps of course, over the years I’ve had multiple phones RU-vid account and I’ve always made sure to find your account and subscribe all over again, it would be such a shame to not have known you or your crafts. I mean it’s always really been about just watching you make whatever it is more than seeing the finished project. I’m sure as many other project builders can agree on is that it’s honestly more fun to create something than actually having it finished and put away. Can’t ever beat the painting and weathering stage hands down best part of any project!

7:57 that is not a button, it’s the locking mechanism for the Jedi/ sith to put the lightsaber on there belt. People call it the covertec wheel.

At 7:43 I actually think the button is a covertech knob. It’s what they use to attach their lightsabers to their belts in the prequels

Just a point; the lower knob is actually not a button, it's a covertech knob to attach the hilt to the belt.

Hey jake, I have an idea what If for the reflective blade part you use lighting gel or some clear colored packing tape over the reflective tape so instead of the blade being white whatever light it reflects it will be the color of the lighting gel like green or blue

What if you made the lightsaber light up using a fluorescent material like zinc sulfide with an inhilt UV LED? CRT TVs look pretty good on camera so it should be pretty alright.

it's 7.5 inches long by 4.5 inches around at the base where it connects.

oh yeah totally. The core is actually pvc. the grip has so much intricacy though that pvc is kind of more effort than it's worth though. So I'd say use pvc for the core and eva for the grip.
