HEY FRIENDS! I simply wanted to point out something about the Agave syrup used in this video. In the Tommy's and Classic Margarita recipes , when I use Agave syrup, it's a 2:1 syrup by weight. So 500gr of agave nectar for 250 gr of water. But in the Cordial, it's the pure Agave nectar without dilution. Thanks for watching and have a great day! Cheers! P.S. Sefra was so proud of her move LOL
Just made your Classic Margarita and was blown away. Made a second thinking it may lose that initial uniqueness but nope, still amazing! Love your content!
I can't belive im drinking a good margarita right now! I never liked margaritas but today my mindset was changed! Your version is actually supper delicieus. Thanks for this mindchange.
Excellent!!!!! I love Margheritas, and def Tommy's is good. Your version looks beautiful!!!! I'm glad you didn't say that you where off to do rock climbing.........
I bought it at Alambika in Montreal. They ship in Canada but if you are outside of Canada, I also linked some in my description. Such as Alambika’s website. Cheers
Question about the orange saline solution: I weighed 1 gr of sea salt then added 10 gr of orange bitters, but the salt didn't dissolve completely. I ended up having to use about an ounce of bitters. Did I screw it up? Does my scale suck?
Thanks so much. Would that be the same for your clarified Negroni with the Empress gin? Hoping to make a few pre batched clarified cocktails for Christmas with the family!
why use citric acid/ peels instead of lime juice? when clarifying other cocktails that would normally call for citrus, should i be considering citric acid instead of the juice?
Awesome! A little sad you didn’t say your famous “fine strain into your favourite cocktail coupe” haha Also, are Blanco and reposado pretty interchangeable in a margarita? Would you ever use anejo?
I like a crisp and green Blanco in my classic Margarita. Repo can always be used, the taste will be slightly different but it’ll work. I would use Anejo for a more aromatic Margarita. Maybe a riff on the classic to make it more “wintery” with spices or something
@Truffles On The Rocks Will the balance be off on your version if using Dry Curaçao? I love your versions of cocktails because they are really perfectly balanced but I fear the Cointreau.
Aaron, I PROMISE you it will be great with Curaçao and I share your opinion about Cointreau; it’s good for this famous pancake recipe (crêpes suzette) where I live, but Curaçao is the stuff I’d use for drinks every time and it’s not even close. Cheers!
I never understood why SAQ’s selections were so different than the LCBO’s. Yes, they’re two different government entities, but come on, they’re right next door!
El jimador is NOT tequila according to the mexican origin denomination standard. It is an avage beverage not compling to the tequila standars. Drink at your own risk. Enrique Ongay Mexico Citiy
The cordial you used for the clear marg looks clearer than the bottle you poured the cordial into. It also zooms in (to where your cordial is out of view) when you go to add the cordial. Is it the same cordial? I want to know before I spend $80 making this
