This is way cool!😎 I found FIVE 4-leaf clovers the other day that I put in water until I can figure out how to do resin casting on the cheap. I had an idea hot glue could be used for a mold because of all the 5-minute craft videos where hot glue is used for literally almost everything. LOL! If you have a glue melt-pot, you can pour a large amount all at once. Chopping up the glue sticks willm help them melt faster.

Thank you so much for your tutorial. Have you ever made very small, like 4mm or 5mm cabochon molds? I am trying so hard to find a tutorial showing that.

Hey guys...a small update on the Glue gun method to make the mold. Use this method only on small items like the one's i have shown above. There is always a chance of missing out on details in this method. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS MOLD FOR FOOD/BAKING. Do not use it on anything 3D, silicone liquid would be a better choice for that. Petroleum jelly or a mold release spray is very important else you will not be able to remove the mold from your piece. Lastly use this only if you have no other way cause it looks like different quality of glue sticks give different results. My first choice to make a mold for resin use is always SILICONE LIQUID.
