Hi Tony, one quick question. When doing to main body, did you take off the steel springs?

Good vid but kind of confusing for the lack of steps to be reproduced Can u please outline the steps sequense?

did the salt and ammonia damage the springs?

Tony I live in Perth and have no clue what I am doing taking apart my tenor to do this. Would you consider helping with mine for a fee?

OK Tony, I just finished my first tenor. A 59 Martin Indiana. Stripped the lacquer with Aircraft Stripper. After following the directions the finish came out splotched, not even at all. Should I have buffed it to an even hue before starting? I know, now's a good time to ask. thanks. Dan

I used bleach - and the result was incredible - the key is you have to put all of the parts in at the same time- the horn came out a dark brown color.
