When I was rebuilding the 1930's Crescent Jointer I spend a lot of time shaking paint spray cans over and over again. I see the same thing on almost all the woodworking channels we all shake the paint spray cans. This is a simple build that will save allot of time off on your or someone else's build.

Idea! Put a counter weight on your wheel to reduce the vibration!

That's quite a paint shaker, but I was beginning to think you were building a Living room set, or maybe even a Ford pickup....lol

For the towers is glue and a butt joint sufficient? Seems like there’d be a lot of lateral force. Otherwise great project.

The narrow piece of wood with the the long slot may need some reinforcing if it is to last.
@ChrisGlitzosWoodTinkerer
@ChrisGlitzosWoodTinkerer 6 лет назад
+Doggeslife You are right about it... but i try not to run it on high RPM if i can i always run it on a low settijg, because i would need to add a counterweight on it in order to balance it. Thank you! for your observation.

@robertyu1229

Chris, the thing's great but if you shake it left to right, you would possibly break the glass beads
@ChrisGlitzosWoodTinkerer
@ChrisGlitzosWoodTinkerer 6 лет назад
You need to have low rpm on it or else it will shake it's self off the table and go into pieces. But it does a nice job on mixing the paint better than by hand.

Cool. had the same general idea, but was going to use a cam to get a little vibration for craft size bottles. Keep up the good work.
@ChrisGlitzosWoodTinkerer
@ChrisGlitzosWoodTinkerer 6 лет назад
A cam will do as well but you may need pressure to keep it down.

Mount board is too long, if it was lighter there'd be less forces acting on the jig. It should end at the start of the plastic top. But I like your style. Better than people clamping them to a reciprocating saw blade.

Thank you for your comment. I made this one to acommodate a long an extra long paint spray cans.

Pepe I don't know if there is a market for it and what will be a fair price?
@diyboomboxesintexas2805
@diyboomboxesintexas2805 6 лет назад
Chris Glitzos Chris there's be a good Market because the only other solution you can use as Divine attachment for a Sawzall, but for someone like me who doesn't own the Sawzall this would be perfect. I build boxes out of metal, boomboxes you can see on my channel, so I don't have a lot of woodworking tools in this would be perfect for me if I can get somebody to make it for me
@diyboomboxesintexas2805

Chris Glitzos I would pay 25 or 30 bucks for one

Glued together? You sure that’s gonna hold up?
@ChrisGlitzosWoodTinkerer
@ChrisGlitzosWoodTinkerer 6 лет назад
VERY GOOD QUESTION! It has held very well. The trick is to have a clean cut as long as you don't sand the parts you are gluing because the fine saw-dust clogs up the small wood pores and don't let the glue penetrate deep into the wood so keep the gut clean no sanding, it will hold stronger and should not brake at the new seam... it will break at another spot but not where you have glued the new joints.
