Yep. If you need to activate the God Class, You can't have any other Class bonuses like Naga, Goblin, Elf, Demon, Orc, Troll, etc. If you have only 1 Demon, So God doesn't get active. You need 2 Demons to deactivate the Demon perk and hence make the God Class Active.

because with 2 demons the demon buff is inactive, since you can only have 1 demon without two demon hunters, and gods activate when all other species traits are inactive. If you have two demons without the demon hunters, you nullify the demon buff because its only active if its your only demon

Are you sure they are the ONLY racial bonus active? They are working as intended.

If you have 2 of them they cancel out each other, they don't get the synergy and therefore the gods bonus will be active.

I think the point to play god is not to play mars so early. In mid round u can still get those mars since less ppl aim for it. If you got a zeus, thats when you play god. The hard part is to maintain not too depend on race bonus.

Just dont play mars from the beginning, its ok to use normal mage comp/warrior comp or anything as long you have razor or sf on your team, later you can either build god mage with 2x razor lv2, cm lv 2 and zeus or you can go demon build with sf and doom

@@papermantr7241 He got necro2 relative early at r23. I didnt recall alot of cms or razors for mage bonus. I'd prolly wanted disruptor2 much earlier in play at the time when bm was cut, jug should have been out aswell.

@@papermantr7241 There were some cases of that but he chose kunka before cm meaning he'd have to sell and reroll for it along with other pieces. Aslo having mostly physical warrior base was the odd part so necro made slightly more sense imo as he saved tides to ult twice a few times. This wasnt a true god setup tho.

@@Four-24 He never said that he quit HS he said he wanted to wait for the new expansion or till the game changes a bit plus he also plays magic and other stuff he never just played HS he was just most known for it and right know I guess he has most fun with auto chess but I think if they dont keep it up with bringing new stuff the game will become boring at least that´s what I´m thinking after playing it for some time now.

​@@papermantr7241 demon are OP usually cause of demon buff which causes them to deal tons of dmg and charge the ulti. Without demon bonus (with more than 1) they stop being OP. I mean they are decent, but SF trades 33% of his dmg for ulti, which wont be casted twice, Doom is single target only, altho tanky. I would have cut doom and SF for CM2 (was doable) and techies (he saw like 6 of them).

No God bonus in that case. Need to have more than 1 Demon or none at all.

That's actually a proper way to build. You never build for gods from round 1 - you would just lose cause team doesnt have any synergies and not enough mana to utilize CD

@@LastZepp1 yeh its how you play the game... you see what rolls you get and sometimes you get lucky early rolls and then it sometimes keeps going and you dont need to reroll your money. and then you pick up gods + mostly 4* and 5* units that annihilate enemies that are far behind already... nothing to do "building something specifically in a good way" that was the point. Well you can actually build "god" mars with rathet quickly if you get cm and decent early heroes like timbers and such. but this was not it. getting 1 mars doesnt make you unsynergized. you dont need to keep the god bonus every round, and mars is actually good in early game.

d1mez if all of your opponents are far behind chances are you already won. IMHO mars sucks and he’s taking up precious slots. He is strong with early lvl 2 (which is basically every other hero), or with good tank items (there are a lot of tanks tbh). I tend to find mars without god tag pretty low tier
