hello, i am facing a issue that when i launches my application through the icon , so my background image is not visible , but when i run througn ./main.py at that time it is perfectly running fine. please suggest some solution for this

btw if you are on linux on some desktop environments and you need to force shut it down use ctrl+alt+esc and then double click and then you are good to go

No such file or directory usually means there is an error with the location of something in the picture itself

Sir , I have a python script which included some bash commands in os.system() method . If I convert this python script to exe, will this exe file work properly in windows or will I face any issues since Windows can't run bash commands ?

pyinstaller --onefile filename.py this will convert the py code to an exe and will be stored in dist folder

At what stage did you get that output? Maybe you do not have python 3 installed?

Did you write your program in python 3? (3.4.2) Something to that effect? Are you sure you typed in #!/usr/bin/envSPACEpython3 on the very first line of your code?

did you write your program on windows or mac before you ran it on linux? in that case you should consider converting your python-script using dos2unix. stackoverflow.com/questions/9975011/pycharm-usr-bin-pythonm-bad-interpreter

Is there a launch anyway option? I would just click that. If you made the file then you know it can be trusted

There has to be a way of marking it as trusted. Im not sure of how because i did not have that problem with my ubuntu distro

right click and go to properties. in that go to permissions tab. there will be an option to give permission to execute

Try CD-ing to the directory that has the python file and then run chmod +x filename.py then run ./filename.py and see if it runs

faced the same problem I fixed it by coping the untitled.ui ( which was imported for my application in its source code ) in the home folder try to run the application and the code from command line in the home folder to see exactly why it isn't running
