How to Make a Rosemary Smudge Stick Set - Witchcraft - Magical Crafting

In this video I make rosemary smudge sticks and decorate a smudging feather. You can use smudging to banish negativity or to raise energy and get into a spiritual mindset. You can use the smoke to cleanse your home, yourself and your magical tools. Smudging can often make people feel more relaxed and grounded and more ready to take on important tasks or magical workings.
Historically, smudging is an ancient practice used by many cultures that involves the burning of herbs for cleansing and purification. It clears stuck and low vibration energies. Smudging calls on the spirits of sacred plants to drive away negative energies and restore balance. Similar to burning incense, burning a smudge stick can act as an offering to spirit, aid in visions, dream work and more. In recent times smudging has grown in popularity and it’s uses have become as diverse as the people who practice it.

Great recipe for a smudge stick... And the feather is beautiful. When my garden birds donate large feathers from now on I will collect them and do feather painting... Either for directing smudge smoke or making a pretty mobile 🧡🌟♥️

Very nice. I love rosemary and although I used to hate artificial lavender smell , I happily discovered that it's nature smell it really nice (lavender tea,essential oil). Only one question. Can I use a ready dried rosemary to make a bundle of it instead of drying it myself in order to ensure that my smudge stick is really dried ?

That was a cool and artsy idea. Very pretty and thanks for explaining what each herb does. I was wondering though. When burning the bundles will it burn the string and cause the bundle to come loose in our hands? Would using a thin colorful wire be better. Just wondering.

Rosemary is not listed as toxic for cats or dogs

@@TheCarlaparr please understand that just because the dried plant might be safe, animals are more sensitive to smoke so it would be best not to smoke cleanse a room if your pet is with you
