Who says you have to cut and paste on a masterboard? I experiment with throwing a lot of colour around and make my own scribbly masterboard. Craft with me and enjoy this simple craft idea.

I appreciate getting ideas that help me use supplies that I don't ordinarily use like colored pencils and crayons and liquid-y paint. These cards turned out great, and I love the randomness of them. And who doesn't like to scribble!! Thank you, Helen, for another inspiring idea.

This looks like so much fun - I'm going to do it at the next opportunity! I love the "no pressure" nature of this, and the way cutting it up converts "scribble" into "art". One tip - try turning the paper upside-down halfway through the scribble stage. It will make the results look more random by redirecting the natural movements of your hand. That said, these turned out lovely! There's really no way to go wrong with this. I enjoy the random images, and love those chunky crayons.

Thank you for the tip about turning the paper upside down. I love that idea! You are right that there is no incorrect way to do this - which is very freeing! I hope you have fun with this.

Hi Helen: They look great! Your sticker book is fabulous. Good idea to put them on your cards. Love the giraffe! I can see using magazine pieces since I don’t have a book like yours. Fun project. Thanks for sharing. 💜😎🇺🇸

Magazine pieces would work well. Things cut out of junk mail, anything you have. The sticker book was a big treat but on the whole I'm sure what you have kind of girl.

I haven't actually thought of just randomly making scribble marks like this. I will try it when I'm next at my desk, because I create designed chaos on paper, not actually reckless chaos. MMMM you have got me thinking. I like your results, so I'm willing to have a go. Thanks for sharing.

Unique take on a master board! Some of my very inexpensive stencils came in sets, so there are some I’ve never used. I think this would be perfect for them. 😊 Hope your writing is coming along well. ❤

Sounds like the perfect project for those inexpensive stencils. I like it because whatever motif you use just blends in so you don't have to worry about working to a particular theme. You can just get some colour down!

I think the playing card is my favorite too. Being I don't have ink in a bottle, I may try using my watercolor pallet & also some stamps, I have only a couple of stencils. But seeing your technique is inspiring to try using what I have on hand. I really enjoy your videos Helen & hope you are doing well 😊 ❤

Water colour, stamps and stencils are great. You can all so mark make with bubble wrap, the open top of jam jars, chunks of styrofoam, old toothbrushes. Anything you have to hand that you can dip in some kind of colour. ❤️
