Nice. But...there are some very important stages missing. After the initial creation of the sphere you need to dust it with earth at least 4-5 times, ending with a layer of very thin dust particles. Putting the ball in a plastic bag in between the dusting stages, Etc. I have never seen this method where you keep wetting the surface but from what 've learned so far about Dorodango there is not one correct way to create it. Thank you for the lovely video :)
I think you only have to do that if you're using coarser dirt or dirt with more sand, that's because you need to rub the smaller particles on to create a shell. The smaller particles are what create the shell that can be shined, however when the entire ball is already made of fine particles, like clay, it doesn't need to the shell to be put on
Hi! So how long do you let the ball dry from the first stage (of making the ball) till rounding it with the bottle and also between rounding it and polishing it?
There are two ways to do this ball ,, you can leave it dry completely , then you hydrate it with water ,, or you can put it in plastic bag and you can work it every day for two minutes until it dry, the second way gives you perfect ball with almost polished ball
Because the big mouth of the bottle makes the ball spherical , while the small one works in the surfaces which the big mouth didn't reach ! so the two sizes just to make better ball
