This is a video on how to use a small empty space for a shoe rack. I went to the warehouse where they sell Particle Board and cut according to the desired measurements. I used a laser and not a meter because it is more accurate to drill all 4 holes equal for the level of the shelf. It is easy to make and took me half an hour to assemble. I used shelf pin or shelf support 5mm.
