I've never sewn with a machine before and just finished the small stuff sack. It took quite a while getting the machine set up, thread and needles right, but I'm a sewing rookie. Gutterman 100% polyester sew all thread and Schmetz 100/16 needles in the end worked best with a borrowed Brother CE4000. The small sack is imperfect but it works well. The small stuff sack I made weighs .18oz on my scale replacing .88oz of plastic bags. Thanks for putting the kit together and making the video! On to the medium stuff sack. Edit I'm also shocked at how much stuff fits in the small stuff sack. Bic mini, sawyer mini, victorinox classic sd, toilet paper 14g, ear plugs, 3 alcohol wipes, picaradin wipes, .5 oz bar soap, flosser, toothpaste 1oz, toothbrush, small body glide, headlamp and long handle spoon diagonally and more would probably fit.
Is there a cure period for the single sided tape? Should I wait for a period of time prior to turning the bag inside out? AND, unrelated to this project, is there a cure for the double sided tape you sell? I used some to bind two pieces of Dyneema together and let it sit for 10 hours, but when I pulled shear on the two pieces it separated at the tape, which was also still a bit sticky. Thanks in advance for the answers...
You prolly dont give a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all the latest movies on Instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend for the last few weeks xD

Hello Cerenade! Here are the links for the two components you asked about: 1) Mini Cord Lock ripstopbytheroll.com/products/mini-cordlock?variant=958747517 2) 1.5 mm Black Drawcord ripstopbytheroll.com/products/1-5-mm-mini-cord?variant=1041261937 I don't know when these will be in stock again. Many of the lightweight DCF's are in a shortage right now.
@@cerenademe9433 Awesome! If you wanted something sooner, you could pick up our $10 DIY Kit. That has all of the same components and more! ripstopbytheroll.com/products/the-10-diy-box?variant=637279205
We recommend using a Shmetz Microtex Sharp size 12-14. Also, if you already haven't, think about going over your machine to make sure the parts are in good order and there's no dust or debris in the channels. Hope this helps!
@@RipstopbytheRoll Thanks for the update. I went ahead and made a bag using your fabric. Video uploading soon. Hopefully it inspires people to buy your fabric and materials.
