idk man, its gotta get old having it get blocked and punished all the time. your next level is when you make them think your gonna beam and then you use them trying to block and instead try and close the gap and mix them up
It’s so satisfying seeing the newbie friendly team being the first thing you’d think of when building a team since it mimics the flow of the anime really well: vegeta heads in first and gets his ass kicked, Krillin stays behind providing support, Goni comes in the last second to save the day

No matter what i always just like to mix up my playstyle regardless of archetype to mix up my play style and mess with players that aren't used to certian characters. I hope i explained that right.
i wanna buy Baseku for the assist where he does that shockeave thingy and his supers mix my team pretty good it would be trunks as Point mid baseku and anchor gogeta blue lemme know if its good
I use Goku Black with A assist, Hit with C assist (love me some full screen assist protection), and Goku with B assist (mmm meter button) I can play neutral decently as Goku Black and Hit, and once I get to Goku I have level 3 I used to have Goku as my point and Black as my anchor, but i found that i tended to start matches by raw tagging Goku Black in, so i swapped it.
I prefer Team "Shitter" but I run Adulthan Point with C Assist so I can get to 7 with Gogeta upon connecting. Plus I'm still learning Adulthan routes and play on Switch. It's also fun to Level-Up Gohan then kick the opponent into a Spirit Bomb. So...Team Level-Up as every Character in the Team has a level system in place. Not to mention, all 3 characters are/have been my favorites in prior games. I'll stick with my ungabunga team as main but I do have others. It's just so fun to cheese TODs.

I use the Legendary Super Saiyans as my team and have no idea how to combo, use my assists or so much as play properly cuz I'm new and bad. All I try to do is whip out DBS Broccoli and land a L.AC in the corner. I land the autocombo, use a spark for the last hit, land the autocombo AGAIN, use my SECOND spark for the last hit AGAIN, land an autocombo AGAIN, and use Meteor shower to kill my friend and make him close the game in rage. :P
Your trash spamming auto combos the win wouldn’t matter in the end and ya rank gon stay the same learn combos and play fair not button mashin take your pace play the game don’t spam smh auto combos and evade spammers get punish by me I start slow give them a chance but once you start spamming it’s over I turn up
Only reason I use one C assist because the other options aren’t really... great. I mean Cooler for example I’d rather have his full screen beam than his other assists even though they aren’t the worst. They need to change some things on his dp assist so I can use it more properly with jiren. But my favorite team is kefla, jiren, cooler. My Anti-Zoning team if you will. Since they all have amazing tools to deal with zoners.... yknow except Z broly
Personally I use this team: (Point): Tien with C assist (Mid): Z Broly with B Assist (Anchor): Frieza with C Assist somewhat weird team line up overall but it's actually a pretty good team all in all
I think you’re forgetting the fact that the c assists that literally take away any advantage and/or neutral you had belong to some of the most used characters. And triple c assist is either meh or broken, I either shrug it off or immediately think much less of the player I’m fighting. But with the rest of them I completely agree I’m confused why people even try to use Goku Black C assist-
How to make teams as a casual player 1. Start with 3 characters you like 2. When you get the chance, make more to see what characters you enjoy playing (try doing teams that follow a theme, like majins, super saiyans, humans, etc.) 3. Take your favorites to play as and make a team of them 4. You now have your main team

Thinking of getting this game but don't know about team... I was thinking possibly 18, Krillin and Frieza but don't know if they'll play well together.
god I wish I had SS4 Gogeta now. I've been running the Base Goku B assist because I love free meter and can't do combos tbh. Only reason I've made him my Anchor. Oh and ig because Kaioken is really cool. I can't play with my fav characters anywahs because either 1) the ones I wanna try are behind S2 and S3 or 2) idk then because I never watched/read Dragon Ball. I just want a cool fighting game.
Honestly, I just choose the three characters that I like to play the most. If it's a good team then hooray. If not, then I will do my best to make it a good team. My current and probably final team (seeing as how there is no more patches) is Bluegeta point, Blueku mid, and finally DBS Broly Anchor. Their assists are B, A, and B respectively because those fit my more aggressive playstyle.
I love running Bardock/Gogeta/Broly, Bardock always gets me fun leads and by the time I'm done with him I can usually get a insta kill with Gogeta. Broly is just there because I'm a bully >:)
What I do for team building is 1 just think of 3 characters I really want to play right now and make a team of it like Jiren, gogeta, ssj4, Goku black or 2 steal a pros team and make minor changes like Kefla, android 18, ssj Vegeta
I really only use C assists on point characters, just because if I'm switching point out, it's because they are entering a bad matchup, and I will switch back when I finish off that specific opposing character, plus points don't last too long, so the slower assist doesn't matter when I never get to use their assist
BTW Put you main in mid if you don't want them to die you first charter should be a good combo er and damger ten you main will finish you ach or can help out
@@quard4079 point character is SSJ goku and mid is UI but i wanna switch him out for baseku since i like him more but also i can play trunks instead of UI too and gogeta blue anchor
@@cyberwar5949 Well, Gogeta Blue has some problems that prevent him from being a great Anchor in my opinion. The biggest problem being that all of his moves have way too much recovery. Base Goku meanwhile is often considered the 3rd best Anchor character in the game. Also, Gogeta Blue gets great mix with Base Goku's A Assist.
I am generally horrible in Vs type games. I tend to like a defensive style/chipping people out to fish for openings/mistakes and then do more or less simple combos. I'm not so big on huge long combos, but I do like putting them in the corner to oppress. I also like grapplers and speed demons Is there a team I can run that would work like that?
