Step by step how to make a tincture using Goldenrod.
Goldenrod is an herb. People use the parts that grow above the ground for medicine.
Goldenrod is used for infections of the kidney, bladder, or urethra (urinary tract infections or UTIs), bladder stones, kidney stones, joint pain, hemorrhoids, and other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support any use.
The names "early goldenrod," "European goldenrod," and "Canadian goldenrod" are used interchangeably. Don't confuse this herb with mullein, which is sometimes called "goldenrod."
How does it work?
Goldenrod contains chemicals that may increase urine flow and reduce swelling. It might also kill bacteria and fungi.

You ask permission from the plant and listen with your heart. It is a way of respecting the plant as a living being that is offering up its life to you or a piece of itself for your health and well-being. It very selfless . you have to be connected with nature and have some intuitive skills to really feel like your connecting. Its not for everyone but I do understand the concept and reason for it. Hope that helps you understand why you hear people say that 😊

I really appreciated the content, especially about whether to clean or not to clean the goldenrods. Then the fact of using coffee filters to filter the liquid. I was surprised that you didn't dry out the flowers before making the tincture. Why didn't you dry out the flowers?

Thank you so much for this awesome video, would you be able to point me in the right direction to sell our organic goldenrod and other herbs we grow here. We are about ready to harvest our twenty acres of goldenrod and would like to have one or two companies that we can either deliver it to or process it for. We are new to this and don't really know where to market this and our other herbs such as burdock, dandelion, wild raspberry, etc, all organic for the last thirty five years at least.
