Speed Selector makes variable speed pulleys that replace the Reeves, Hi-Lo and TB Woods pulleys that went out of business or got bought. Most of the pulleys are in stock or Speed Selector will custom make if needed. They have an actual engineering department who were very helpful.
Could not find the second video. Have never seen a variable pulley without a keyway (or splines). As you are only effectively using one half of the belt for transmitting power it would seem it would have more chance of slipping under load. How did it work in actual usage?
