Betsy Smith I recently did a poll on my community page here on RU-vid and it looks like lemon cream pie is winning however apple cream pie is a close second I may just have to do both 😁

This looks like the sort of cake I want to bake, but then could only manage eating four bites of before exploding. then my husband would willfully sacrifice himself and eat the rest of it in one sitting. In the end we'd both feel guilty.

This was such a drama to make.. 😂 My hand mixer kept filling up with butter, covering my entire kitchen and bowl in butter trying to fix it with spoons and fingers.. I also got confused by the voiceover and forgot to add my second cake layer 😢.. I deconstructed my layers by hand, creating an even bigger buttery mess! I really hope my boyfriend (and I) will like it! 😊😅

Oh no! I will have to go back and listen to this one if it caused you confusion? Sorry about that! Maybe this one would be worth a re-make 2024 update? Thanks for trying my recipe & I am sure despite the mess it will be fab! PS~ in my Mojito Cake Key Lime Cake recipe I forgot to remove the parchment paper from my cake layers so I fully understand the mess in deconstructing a cake that's already been built! LOL

@@GretchensVeganBakeryNo problem, there is no cake making without messing at least one thing up 😂. I think the confusion was caused by the editing and voice over skipping over the step ( 5:50 ) where the second cake layer is added. Needless to say, I should've paid more attention! I will let you know what he thinks and if I have any yummy ideas ~

Hmm, seems all the peanut brands can be different consistencies so in that case you can just add some more graham crumbs to tighten it up
