How much more are you willing to pay for glass? How about additional shipping costs and potential for damage? Not just for the end user, but for us when they arrive at the warehouse many pallets at a time. Does the entire thing need to be glass including reservoir, filter and lid? If you're concerned about the water sitting in plastic, then get one of our countertop FLO models and fill a glass pitcher in your home. You might want to spend several hundred for a starter level water ionizer, but we have thousands of pitcher customers who can't afford that and are thankful they have an afforable option to enjoy.
Oh my god everything is so confusing all the comments and what he is saying in the video plus he never tells how to make alkaline water! I hate videos like that where they’re trying to sell you something and make you watch the entire video and never tell you “ how to” Can somebody just tell me how to make the alkaline water at home please
LOL..No you just further muddied the waters buddy..clearly the obvious thing to do would have been to explain the mechanism through which your pitcher achieves what you are claiming.. you didn't!!, may not eliminate but would have certainly gone a long way in mitigating doubt

Thanks for clearing up some of the questions that I had. I have seen some of the video about the lemon and the baking soda in the water to help the ph in the water.
What about fluoride, does it remove that as well? You need to make a 1 and 2 gallon size as well. I would like to purchase one but they seem too small for a family.
It will not remove Fluoride. No filter that small is capable, so if that is a concern for you, you'll have to check into our ceramic and reverse osmosis alkaline options. What if you are looking for a way to make iodized water to make activated carbon in, let's say, a SHTF situation? Is there a good process to use with household items?
It would make the water alkaline in the sense you will be adding minerals to the water and your body. It will not raise the pH or help with the antioxidant and hydration aspects however.
I don't mind that you are selling a product as long as it's beneficial to my health. You showed how lemons are naturally acidic but what is the truth of lemons? Last I checked they turn alkaline in your body not outside it. Lemons have been used for health properties for thousands of years, it seems you are undermining their benefits in favor of your product.
@@iknownothing1990increasing the alkalinity of the water we drink is good, but being able to do that + improve it's antioxidant properties is even better. It's the most important reason to drink the water fresh from an ionizer. If we just add lemons or grab a bottle of "alkaline", we're missing out on what we could otherwise benefit from.
@@vitevtv I've been drinking water with the juice of one lemon and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar every morning for a while now, am I doing my body harm or is there anything I should do differently?
@@iknownothing1990 as long as that water is filtered well, you're not doing harm. But you might want to look into doing the same thing with a water that has the -ORP and hydrogen antioxidant properties. The pitcher we show in the video is an easy/inexpensive way to do so.
What would y’all recommend for a large scale system? I’m asking because I am living at a private well system. And I would be using this not only for my drinking water, but also for my fish tanks for when I do a monthly water change. 55 gallon and 15 gallon, roughly 25% water change each. Obviously I can’t use the small filter here.
Hi Robert. Aquariums are a whole different ball game. There are a lot more considerations with respect to pH and the mineral ppm of the water and not something we'd feel comfortable recommending for. You might want to check out some specific aquarium companies and/or discussion boards to get their advice.

Why did the last experiment have purple water in the pitcher but when you poured it into the cup from the pitcher.....the water was clear....not purple....and it seemed as those you were hiding the water with your hand
Hi Valerie. Not sure what you are referencing. This test is for ORP so the water didn't have any pH reagent added to it. In the previous video, we did a pH test. Reagent was added to the bottled water to show a starting pH and then allowed to filter through the minerals to show how they changed the pH from acidic to alkaline. There was no hiding. It went in very low (4ish) and came out at a deep purple, which with this reagent is a 9+ pH level.

Hi Darryl. No, that would add some minerals to your water, but you would not have the benefits associated with alkaline water. Namely the antioxidant and pH benefits.
Hi Aman. The pitcher is majority magnesium with a smaller amount of potassium and natural sodium. Since most people use it with tap water, the calcium levels are typically ok already. We just balance things out.
vitevtv my last question prolly after this is I am sold. will this filter rid the harmful chemicals that our water industries put in our pipes meaning they put chemicals in water pipes so the water does smell or stuff like fluoride
And what happens if you mix mineral water + a complete lemon juice + 5 spoons of bicarbonate of soda? Not just backing soda, because it contains oder components
The lemon juice being very acidic would probably overwhelm the mineral water and bicarb and show an acidic pH. However, while it would indicate an acidic pH, it would provide the body alkalinity in the form of the mineral concentration.
But Gatorade contains high levels of sugar and food dyes, which may increase people's risk of certain health conditions, including weight gain and type 2 diabetes. Gatorade and other sports drinks are not inherently healthy or healthier than other beverages.
Is there a particular type of filter I should be looking for, or just any alkaline filter will do? Also, what type of plastic do you use for your pitcher?
