The first recipe my mom ever taught me was this sauce when I was 8 years old. It's simmered for hours to develop a rich depth of flavor. 8 cloves minced garlic
3-4 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
4-5 28oz cans San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes (with juices)
2-3 tbsp Amore sun-dried tomato paste (amazon link amzn.to/3V8CL9I)
1/2 tsp (each) salt & black pepper
3 Tablespoons fresh basil
2 teaspoons fresh oregano
