I used to work as a party decorator long ago, and we would wrap our bow around a piece of card board and then side it off. We would then firmly tie the middle with cheapo ribbon and do the same method with bow fluffing. The board will help you make all your bows uniform if you have several to make(5 inch, and 9 inch bows)... you would just keep your cardboard. Good video!

Honi looks so pretty with the blue ribbon at the end.. Beth when I worked for a jewelry store at Christmas many years ago we made bows like that ahead of time but used balloon curling ribbon to tie the middle. It worked great..

I'd probably put some sort of cheap bowl or container upside over it to keep it... or make it the sole package in a shipping box and use a LOT of peanuts or newspaper around the sides so that it does not move during shipment.

Even though this vid is 1 1/2 years old. I am glad I found it! I was watching some other vids on how to make a bow for my wife's Christmas presents and I was to my wits end of why they were so complicated for a man, lol! This is such a great tutorial. I'm making my mom a wrist corsage and wanted to put on a really nice puffy bow. All the florist videos I've watched do it is such a way that my bows look sad and lopsided. I made a bow out of wired ribbon while watching your video and it came out so nice.
