I ordered a diffuser just a few days ago and I am sooo excited to try this blend. I love your videos and have learned so much and have actually tried several. My essentials oils collection grows by the week!
thanks I really liked the idea ....I use to have a small votive candle scent for my apartment...Its was so long ago--the good thing is when the candle burned out you had to add a new one...a lot less thought then electricity or timers or stove top steamers with scents--and I did like the stove top when I was home for hours or so I would add oranges apples cinnamon cloves actual items and simmer them for hours.....the whole apartment would smell so yummy....The candle one is in case your working or tired you just light it and simmer the oil and water...when the candle burns out you don't have to worry about it.......I love when my room or house smells like oranges-cinnamon and cloves ....thanks shy
I love their entire line of diffusers. It's nice to see REAL wood diffusers too! I love your videos, I learn so much, find great new sites and products too. I can't wait to see upcoming videos. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Lyn! This would make a lovely inhaler blend. Great idea! You can try using: 5 drops Rosemary essential oil (Rosmarinus officinalis ct. camphor) 5 drops Grapefruit essential oil (Citrus paradisi) 5 drops distilled Lime essential oil (Citrus aurantifolia)
Is this safe to diffuse this blend around pregnant women and infants? And, if not, could I use it in an inhaler? You're my favorite channel on youtube. My two-year-old also likes watching your videos!
Andrea, I love you energizing diffuser oil (in fact I love all of your blends). My problem is that I have high blood pressure and I've read that I should not use rosemary. It's a perfect scent for this blend but could you recommend a substitute oil for this and other blends that use Rosemary. I'm too new to aromatherapy to pick one myself. Thank you for all your videos and for sharing your knowledge. I eventually want to get rid of all the chemicals in my house thanks to you.....Martha
Andrea, Thanks so much for all of your videos and educational knowledge you share! Do you have a recommendation as to a good substitute for yuzu EO until mine gets here?
I think you are going to love the yuzu once it arrives. In the mean time, you might try one of these in its place:Orange (Sweet) (Citrus sinensis) Tangerine (Citrus tangerina) Mandarin (Green) (Citrus reticulata)
New here! Love your channel! I just bought Saje essential oils: Bergamot and Sage. Any suggestions to blend with? I have Lavender, Eucalptus, peppermint, Tea Tree and citrus oils as well. Thanks! I just subscribed! :)
This is a nice collection, Jen P. I might suggest experimenting with combining a few of these to see what scents you enjoy together. how would u go about cleaning and sterilizing bottles that you wish to recycle, and more importantly, how to thoroughly dry them. I can never seem to thoroughly air dry my small bottles, there always seems to be condensation in them.
I have a question. Most essential oils say not for internal consumption. So why would you ingest them through your lungs? It seems if they are toxic through your stomach, they would be equally toxic ingesting them through your lungs.
Thank you for all your wonderful videos. You mentioned you put about 10 drops of your EO blend in your diffuser. How many ml of H2O does your diffuser hold? Does it matter how many drops you place in. I have a diffuser that will hold up to 500 ml. 2nd question, is there a certain time period you should limit yourself to diffusing/day or does it depend on what EO you are diffusing? Are there different time frames for kids 8yrs and up? I do understand you should switch up what you are diffusing for sensitization reasons. Thank you. I'll be listen in on Sunday!
Stephanie Eder, these are all great questions. Let me start with the one about the number of drops in your diffuser. Each person responds to essential oils in their own way so we can't advice as to how often you diffuse. I would suggest you pay attention to how you feel when you diffuse. If you feel lightheaded or a headache, that would be a signal to turn off the diffuser. With infants or small children in the room, we recommend intermittently - 10-15 minutes at a time and then off for 60 minures- and to diffuse away from the child. Also, when the little one is sleeping turn the diffuser off.
Hi Darlene! The diffuser was from a company called Puzhen. I have had it for several years and I'm not sure if it is still available, sorry about that. There are many wonderful diffusers to select from! Here are two of my current favorites: Teo Aroma Essential Oil Diffuser - amzn.to/2tZ84El Sofia Waterless Nebulizing Essential Oil Diffuser - amzn.to/2eNkhKn I hope this is helpful!
Hi Andrea... When you say Rosemary Officinalis, do you mean ct 1.8 or the camphor? And the lime...will the cold pressed work the same as the distilled? Can't wait to try this.. thank you so much for sharing. debbie
Debora Cadene, the one I've used here is Rosmarinus officinalis ct. camphor but you could use the chemotype 1,8 cineole. Both would work equally well. And the cold pressed lime is perfectly fine for diffusion.
Andrea, Hopefully this isn't a silly question?? But it is one that I have wondered about. When I diffuse an oil in my diffuser there is always a tiny bit left in the bottom when the diffuser shuts off. I have been just pouring that out and down the sink. Is there any reason to perhaps capture that leftover water/oil blend and using it as one would use a hydrosol? Thanks for entertaining my layperson question!
This is a great question, not silly at all. It would not be considered a hydrosol. You could 'capture' the remaining liquid and place it in a spray bottle to use as a room freshener, Diana Sittig.
Hi Andrea. Do you know of any cordless ultra sonic vaporizers for large open spaces. I have a large open space living room and the only safe place I can store my vaporizer will be on the side tables that are in the center of the room away from any power source. Do you know of any cordless re-chargeable vaporizers that are out on the market for large spaces. Not really interested in using the traditional tea light style vaporizers.
AussieWitchCerberus Bindweed, there are some diffusers that can run off USB ports so perhaps you could one plugged into a laptop. I found this one on Amazon www.amazon.com/SpaRoom-Aromafier-Fragrance-Essential-Aromatherapy/dp/B00I5W7NJ6/ref=sr_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1538521784&sr=8-5&keywords=usb+diffuser+essential+oil
Can blends that are created for the diffuser be used also as a topical rub with a carrier oil and yield the same benefits? Thanks in advance for your reply.
You might look into one of these two diffusers: Teo Aroma Essential Oil Diffuser - amzn.to/2tZ84El Sofia Waterless Nebulizing Essential Oil Diffuser - amzn.to/2eNkhKn
I just watched this video for the first time and wanted to order a diffuser but apparently the page has been removed. :( I do see that the video is from 2013. Has the company gone out of business?
They haven't Wanda Starr, but unfortunately they stopped making this particular model. They have other really beautiful diffusers you might chose from.
You might check to make sure it is not muted on the video screen. Sometimes this happens and once you click the icon for the speaker you'll be able to hear the video.
