Great video, I was hoping to make a torch that requires you to have a torch equipped before you can turn it on, if you could make a quick video on this I imagine a lot of people would find it useful! Thanks again for a great vid

Can you make a tutorial showing going from idle animation to going up the the flashlight picking it up and changing animation to the flashlight coming up to the camera, and then having an option (G key) to drop flashing changing animation back to idle and flashlight drops to ground?

Thank you!! So do you mean integrating he flashlight input into a VR button? In edit project settings, input, where I created the action mapping, you can add an extra key for your controller button

@@GorkaGames I mean, not adding a key from the keyboard. I would like to use a Controller Button with a switch, to turn off or on the flash light. If this kinda makes sense.

Great tutorial! This was a huge help! But I am curious if there is a way to make it to light up a longer distance away? Cause currently it will only light up a wall like 10 ft in front of me, and I want to be able to see further than that, is that a thing I can do?

Not Sure if youve found out yet or not but if you go into the details of the spotlight, under "Light" its the attenuation radius and you can change that up and down

I have some great T-Rex models and animations and it would be great to be able to make them walk and run etc (instead of on the spot). For example: stomping through traffic in the Matrix City Sample. I know the Dinosaurs interact with the traffic and basically crush oncoming vehicles which looks incredible, but i don't know how to get them moving on a chosen path instead of on the spot - you up to the job of showing how? Keep it simple mate lol. Great tutorials and best of luck with your channel.

Yeah man! I love the idea, so pretty soon I will be making an advanced AI tutorial using behaviour trees and stuff. So I will let you know when its out so you can integrate it with your T-Rex. I will also explain on how to make them choose different targets, in your case the vehicles, and attack them etc. And yeah I will make it easy-to-follow as always!! How do you make your add your own sounds on the play sound 2d part?

i dont know if you figured it out because this was posted 1 year ago, but if you have your own sound files you want to use (they must be .wav) then you go to your content folder and import them, then go back to the blueprint and you should be able to search for them
