Looks great Tom! NOW, lexan or polycarbonate scratches SUPER EASY. do not use glass cleaner with paper towel they will scratch even if the lexan looks clean. Use pledge (yes pledge furniture cleaner) and a microfiber towel. Plus it leaves a lovely lemon sent....

Would you mind sharing the full specs of the poly carbonate if someone wanted to check their local plastics distributor? UV stabilized, margaurd, etc?

Wouldnt it have been easier to just get like a refrigerator box or something similar in size and just place it against another trucks windshield and just trace\cut\shape the box and then just transfer that to the Lexan? Looks good tho.

Could try going to an auto salvage yard and see if they have 4th gen windows and use those as your templates

Looks sharp, nice and even. What do you do street legally when you can't find windshield glass for your old '68 Corolla? Got some cracks and getting smoky edges. It was replaced many years ago but can't find another one now. Anything that will hold up to windshield wipers and tree crap? No garage.

That's awesome. I am going to build a high spl system in my bmw and I need to keep the stock windshield from breaking. Do you think half inch think plexiglass would be thick enough?

Hey Man...i don't think your doing a "screw it" build!! If you hadn't mention the cut i'd bet most viewers would have never known. the truck looks awesome, also the black roof doesn't look bad kinda growing on me ..might look good in pictures(standout) from other white trucks?
