Exponent of the New Bap sound - Barrys Beats, has been at it again. In this latest beat making video Barry sets himself the ultimate challenge. To flip the unflippable and make a banger out of a truly awful sample. In this instance a German pub band playing Oompah style music. But fear not as Barry will be demonstrating a brand new sampling technique he's developed that promises to turn almost any music into something usable. Enter Melodyne!

Cool how you can just change the whole scale instantly. I used to do a similar thing with sound forge back in the early 00's by chopping, pitching, export to midi, re record with different instruments... Your way looks so much faster! Keep up the boom bap! Respect from Upstate New York ❤️💛💚

I actually hardly ever sample now and create my own samples using software and musicians. If you trawl through my channel you will see lots of examples of me creating sampleless beats. My last album 2 sides of Barry, actually featured one side that was all sampled while the b-side was 100% unsampled.
