Easter is quickly approaching and one of my favorite desserts to have during this time of year is Arroz con Leche which is also known as Rice Pudding. Arroz con Leche aka Rice Pudding is a super traditional dish and an instant classic. It's the definition of comfort food. Keep in mind that there are a ton of different ways to making Arroz con Leche and today I'm sharing my version. I hope you enjoy! Love this, my Aunt Maritza makes it almost like this. She does mix evaporated milk with some coconut milk. Really yummy.

You made a great video. I like how you explained everything. I was looking at other videos and you explained it the best. But just a suggestion, you might want to add the ingredients in the description area. It just makes it easier for the viewer. But I also noticed that you added it to the beginning of your video. this was super delicious..thank u so much... I used the 5 minutes rice than I added the milk but instead of 3 cups of milk I used 4 and it came out really awesome,my family loved it..again thank u very much..from my family to yours we wish u Happy Holidays..xx

I love bread budding. I actually filmed that recipe twice and never shared it lol I got so busy during the holidays, that I ran out of time to edit the video. But it's definitely on the list for this year's holiday season :)

This looks delicious! We eat this a lot for Xmas. But we also add fresh coconut milk, fresh ginger, raisins, star anise, brown sugar, and butter 😭😭😭😭 so good! And girl it be so good like I don’t wait for it to cool 😂😂😂

Awesome. Almost the same way I do it. Otra compatriota, Just a quick trick at the same time when you put the water with the cinnamon put the clove why? Because before you put the rice the flavors are infused all together. And I removed it to not chewing later , you know its not nice to bite in the clove change the flavor in the mouth. And I like to put raisins too. Try if you want it's really gd. But your arroz con leche great casi la misma manera que mi abuelita también me enseñó. Saludos from NC.

Sometimes I mix with coconut milk. So yummy. And since I'm try to avoid regular milk y do it. With almond milk and coconut omg sooo good.

Mmmm my mom likes the raisins. Now when you add the raisins is totally up to you and how you like them. The longer you cook raisins the more they puff up and get juicy. If you like them juicy then add them when you add the sugar. I personally like raisins to still be kind of stiff and dry so I add them at the very end when I add the extra cinnamon lol. I just attempted to make rice pudding and just watched your video you explained everything I did wrong. I wish I had watched your video before. So, I am thinking I am going to try your way with some coconut milk and then caramelize mangos to put on top.

First I love all your recipes, all authentic Dominican/ criollo. Second the videos and the ingredients are delivered in ENGLISH!! 🙌 way easier for me to follow along. One feedback on this arroz con leche recipe. I found 1 cup of sugar to be a tad too much, never mind if it was 2 cups. Good thing I stopped and taste tested at 1 cup. I know it’s to each individual’s preferences, just saying to your audience to add a little at a time and taste test. Don’t pour all 2 cups at once. 😁

Thanks for watching. I use a few different brands-- Arroz Carolina and Canilla. Any long grain rice will work :)

Just made this! So so delicious! The only changes I made were that I halved the ingredients because I'm the only one who eats it around here and I added raisins at the end. I was a little surprised that it took so long for the rice to soften but definitely worth it. Is it just me or does anybody else love the skin that forms on top when you use evaporated milk? It is so creamy and sweet and delicious 😍. Thank you Zee! Another winner ♥️.

My mother always made it but since sees white doesn’t have the technique down. However it tastes ok but the main problem is the texture.
