Great content Ifys Kitchen... just a contribution - washing unripe Plantain directly in water(a bowl of water or runny water) limits the gummy feel experienced when peeling unripe plantain thus making it faster to cut. U may give it a try.

It is actually called Boli which means Roasted Plantain in Yoruba. I grew up in Phc. The name Bole was borrowed from the West n adopted by Portharcourt people cos they couldn't pronounce the word rightly. So the name Stuck. There is nothing like Bole, it is Boli. But we Portharcourt people still held on to Bole....lol😂😊
