I do compose cinematic ambient muic for music libraries. Lately I was thinking to get into Hip-Hop kinda stuff, but was wondering about how to bring variation and fit it into that "Production Music" structure. This video helped a lot. Thanks a lot!

Man this was broken down nicely! I'm trying to get into sync and I've been listening and studying the structure and sounds. One thing I noticed there's alot of stabs/ staccato sounds and less long chords. Thanks again!

Yay! That was great, mate, cheers! Re changing key: it is ok, as long as you do that in the B section. Or you could be adventurous, but the end of the track must go back to the main key, as you know

does the length of the intro depend on the type of track? i saw one of your previous videos of a trap beat you made for placement and it had a 5 bar intro, & a 5 bar breakdown. very curious about this, thanks.

Thanks Man for explaining this my question is, Is It a 8 bar hook then 8 bar breakdown followed behind 8 bar hook with more elements then a 4 bar outro with a stinger?

Yea that’s the structure for this beat but it’s definitely not the only structure that you can use.

These are the 3 most common structures: big intro > take away parts > total breakdown > big finish intro > build to big sound > total breakdown > build to big finish small > continuous build > big finish

It is funny Tv shows are interested to rap music with giant brass sections bcuz music world has that phase 2010 when detroit trap/rap was popular.

No, I'm not. Those are audio files exported from my Maschine project. I don't know of any resources unfortunately because it's still kind of a grey area in all areas of the music industry due to content ID. There are people getting copyright claims on their channel because the sound of the metronome.. it's wild out here lol. Some libraries will have explicit instructions that they don't want any music from composers that have 3rd party loops.
