Started benching 2x to 4x a week and went from a 375lb bench to 408lb in 8 weeks . Think I’m going to drop Down to 3 as that may be the sweet spot for my recovery.
But you dont continue training chest after those benching sessions, right? Bc I get really tired sometimes when geting used to full workouts of chest twice a week

Noticed you pretty much only take weight with red,blue,green,yellow plates. Think you could make some good progress, especially on bench, if you start using the micro plates more. 🚀
Your wide grip and belly press path is crazy, I have tried it felt more stable but didn't press more weight, wide straight to nipples line path is strongest everytime
2 things, you're better at what you practice which means you may lift more at that path but that doesn't mean thats the best path. Also, it may actually be that that is the best path for you - everyone is different - but you should consider the science behind his path and decide whether you're checking the same boxes
My bench isn’t the greatest either but I do try and work and work on it like you do. My deadlift and squat are through the roof though. Things you can try to help your bench that I have done are decline work on one of your days and also maybe some static holds on your max weight you’d want to hit to acclimate your body overtime to the weight.
My sticking point is somewhere aroun 50-60% of the movement. For some reason it's like there's a freaking wall I'm pushing against. Feels like there's enough power but can't get past it. No downwards movement, no upwards movement, nothing. Just floating there till I either just call it or manage to push through after floating about 10 seconds...
I’ve been doing t shirt bench paused for years. I wonder if sinking it like this would help. I always thought it was cheating but if it’s acceptable in competition why not try it out
Yeah cuz if youre bracing into the belt it should stabilize your spine more then if you didn’t have the belt and this allows your brain to give a stronger signal and allow you to push and drive more thru your legs and everything I think idk I’m not a scientist but I think this is true
Take the intensity up, stop over training and lock in a sweet replish and recovery regimen. Hell try one workout every 72hours. Good luck! Train with Dorian Yates!
I say it once and I say it again russ will hit 900KG total as a 83kg just needs to lock in that 200kilo bench and maybe get rondellhunte as coach honestly
I would take advice from you but definitely not the bench! you need to step ur bench game up bro, I believe u can win but u gotta really work on ur bench.
