same here! gumagamit din ako ng eggshells for seedlings ito naman biodegradable paper pots na ito hindi lamg sya for seedlings pwede rin sila sa ornamental plants! :))

Hi Charles! I'm expecting it na 6 weeks lang pero mahigit 2 months na yunh saakin buo parin. kapag nag oover water ako sinisipsip sya nung pot tapos kapag na aarawan tumitigas ulit. yun lang ang downside nya kapag umuulan.

Hello there Ms. Casey! the white powder that I added was just a regular flour and yes you can add an actual cocopeat and some compost for added nutrients :)

Will white glue work instead of flour?

I just make sure that the paper mache is completely dried out before extracting it from the molder :)

actually it will take awhile like 6 months and above, you should put holes underneath the pots so the roots can penetrate

hello Kirby, the white powder that I sprinkle was flour they helps to form the pot easily and act like a glue to bind it. it would be best if you add drainage holes at the bottom part to prevent root rot :)

surprisingly no, hahaha ang purpose talaga nyan ay ibabaon sya sa lupa together with the seedlings na nakatanim pero nung sinubukan ko sya gawing regular pot, hindi naman sya na sisira. kapag na sobrahan sa dilig ang nangyayare inaabsorb nung pot yung tubig then kapag nasisikatan ng araw yung pot mabilis naman sya natutuyo at tumitibay ulit wag lang maulanan ng sobra sobra

surprisingly hindi naman, mababasa sya yes pero kapag na titirikan ng araw mabilis rin sya matuyo at tumigas

Hi Shera! woaaah! saludo ako dyan sa research mo teka sabihin ko saiyoo mga details the main use of biodegradable pot are for seedlings to protect their roots when transplanting. kasi kadalasan ang nangyayare kapag nag lilipat ng mga seedlings from plastic trays nasisira yung mga roots nila then eventually namamatay sila, pero kapag gumamit ka ng biodegradable pots maiiwasan mo yun by plating the seedlings sa ground together with the biodegradable pots. nag aact na rin syang fertilizer and na peprevent nya yun pag ka putol ng mga ugat. ngayon with this pot na ginawa ko, natuklasan ko sya na pwede rin pala sya gawing pots na pang matagalan. surprisingly, hindi sya na sisira agad kapag dinidiligan ang mangyayare kapag nasobrahan ng dilig yung plant mo tapos nasa place sya na naaarawan, mabilis din sya matuyo at tumitigas ulit. and downside nya lang is kapag naulanan sya ng malupet doon sya natutunaw.
