How do i get the chocolate not to come out messed up i tried these and when i put the chocolate it came out with lines i am unsure if it was over heated or not enough
Hi Ro they look delicious! Have a couple of question can you use this carmel to make candy with it? if you can do you still have to put the creamer in the carmel still or can you just heat it up? Do they sell this in the grocery stores? I have never seen this carmel before.
You're probably going to want to look in the international isle, that's a Spanish caramel, all my Puerto Rican, Dominican and Mexican friends use it. If you can't find it in a larger grocery chain, go to the Spanish section of the city and ask there. It's like my favorite sour cream, Tropical Cheese brand crema Mexicana, and I can't find it near me, I have to go to the other side of the city in the Spanish area to get it.
@@labella9291 Thank you! I live in a mixed community that's Black, Spanish, and Mexican but that's more predominantly Spanish and Mexican I haven't seen it in the bodegas here I'll have to go back and see if I over looked it!
@@terryjbrown6953 It might not be in the bodegas, because they have size limitations. But if there is a larger chain store, it might be there. You can also freeze frame the vid or take a screenshot or look it up to get a picture, whatever and then show it to someone at the bodega to ask them if they know where you can get that. That's how I have been able to find several things that were readily available where I used to live that was predominantly Spanish, to where I moved back to where you have to go to the Spanish neighborhoods, lol, Cause.. ummm... when you have had the real sofrito (in the white and blue plastic tub, in the frozen section) you kind of laugh at the goya stuff. I mean, it's fine if that's all you can get, but the green sofrito, OMG... Anyway, if you have a picture of it and show it to someone, they will be able to tell you where to find it. Google Nestle La Lechera dulce de leche for a picture.
So I don’t normally check the temperature when I’m dipping because I pretty much have it down to a science soul before I did. My apples are normally wait five minutes before dipping after I have removed the chocolate from the microwave so that the temperature can come down.
@@YourSweetConnection Thank you for replying back. I greatly appreciate it. That gives me a good estimate on when to dip. I keep getting cracks in my chocolate. How do you store your apples after decorating? Thank you.
@@YourSweetConnection Thank you! I was wondering what you would recommend that can be found in stores like Michaels in my case where I am not a professional. Merkens and Chameleon have to be ordered online.
Thank you!❤️ I don’t take classes. I teach them myself. I haven’t took nobody’s classes for the things I create! I’ve been a Baker and Treat maker for over ten years. I’m self taught. If there’s Something given to me to create normally I figure it out myself and create it.
