“Advertising” can be a bit of a taboo word in the Church world, but in reality, we’re really talking about using the tools that businesses use to market their products to tell the world about Christ. Learning how to use these tools is an incredibly important part of staying relevant and influential in today’s digital age.

@@Blackbar I get where you come from. Technically, it is all about convincing people of something you believe in. That's true for people 500 years ago as it is in todays digital age. The thing is, people take convincing others of something to a whole other level with this whole "digital age" "Movement", because we adapted the techniques with not all but a lot of its pitfalls. Business and Advertisement is all about selling. The plane truth is never number one priority. Therefore, „Staying relevant“ is not a wise decision to live by, in my opinion. Not wise at all when talking about truth. May it be to being truth to yourself. Being true to others. Or telling the truth in life. No matter where and when.Inviting people to your church, who will hear the Name Jesus maybe once in two month in a sermon, does not help you nor them. This is not an exaggeration. I experienced it myself. And it may for sure not be the practice. To this I say. It is not yet … It always starts with a Leaflet. Happy new year ;) PS: I still do love ProPresenter, Live Services on RU-vid and the Bible Apps though ;)
