I never understand when pastors and other church leaders/influencers who says, "Don't be on (insert social media here). There's too much sin there." I'm like...THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT!!! Churches might ignore these platforms and get a Holy high thinking they are doing the Lord's work, but people, especially kids, are on these platforms and so is the rest of the world. We cannot influence over people if we aren't there.

DUDE!!!! This is awesome. I never thought of this stuff before. And the analogy of the cable station… that really hit home.

Soon as you said Snap Chat and TikTok it was like something reminded me of exactly the example you brought up. Missionaries and not to mention Jesus lead by showing us where he went into places MOST would not be comfortable to reach people with the world.

I wish I’d found this sooner. Huge help in the practical, but peppered with IMPORTANT reconnection to the actual mission of the body of Christ. Keep it up!

I thought very informative. Churches were caught off-guard by COVID-19. Many had no way or did not have the know-how to stream Sunday Services. And those that did, missed how to receive offerins online. Today, ministry has to have a technical side and a marketing (social media) side. Most ministries are older and don't have these things in place. They know about these things but bury their heads in the sand in hopes that when they come up for air, it will have all disappeared.

Any talk on using social media should start by trying to persuade people to delete all their accounts as they would, in the main, be far better off without them. Not because of them being "full of sin" but because they are influencing our thought and behaviour without us even realising it. The talk could continue along the lines of "Having said that, if we are going to be venturing into these extremely murky waters, this is how we should do try and do it"

Rephrase please. "I was born in a third world country, I live in a third world country and I Pastor in a third world country. People in third world countries need salvation the same why that others do. Sin is sin and it's everywhere. People need Christ all over the world. I know what you were trying to say, just didn't like how it was said. Your reach is wide please remember that. Great video I mean that God bless you.

We have a Facebook group for our small church, as well as a Facebook page. Would you suggest certain content being posted on the page? We really haven't been using it. We really haven't posted too much of anything aside from announcements and engagement with each other.
