@@Dasboat728 Thanks for the reply. The drain cover etc look really good, just the right weathered steel shade. I shall give the Ministry products a try.
What colors would you recommend for the sidewalk, my street looks similar to yours (Thank you very much!) but I'm at an impasse as to a color (look/effect?) that will go well with my street. Again thank you for posting and offering up a wonderful lil addition to the arsenal.
Gotcha...I kinda thought so. I'm hoping to use period (for the time/era) correct coloring. This modulation thing is new for me...but I see (no pun btw) the advantage of it from a overall visual standpoint. Not afraid to try it or anything related to modeling mind you...just need to understand the concept/procedure a lil better before I try it. I want something different, something other than gray shades and yet be historically correct for the theater. Thank you for posting some of the best tips and vid's on YT!!! Always fully enjoyed and appreciated.
Now that's a nice looking road, nice color choice...but to age the road, one would have to create rolling indentations to defy it usages from horse drawn buggies to Model-T's, and crack a few of those bricks....Very nice road, would you attempt an aged brick road?...I think you could, your ready!
Szervusz! Érdeklődve figyelem a munkádat, nagyon tetszik! A macskakövező "célszerszám" különösen jó! Valamint a magyar feliratért is piros pont! Az Adóba László féle diorámás könyveket ismered? Üdv! Gábor
Where did you get the " polystyrene xps base" ? I did a search, and came up with stuff that was really thick. Yours looks like the size needed for this. And thanks for this video, Its just what I needed.
Thank you, great and simple! How did you get the stone texture in the foam base before punching out the stones? i.e. I can see the foam isn't smooth like it would be when you buy it. Does this type of foam stay textured if you e.g. press stones against it, or would it swell back to smooth after a while?
@@ep9415 What fucking instructions? There's no info in the video or the description about that, or even exactly what type of foam it is. But, for any non-dipshits reading this: it appears to be so called xps foam and after getting hold of some, I can say that it does hold the texture rather well after e.g. pressing something rough against it, like a stone or a ball of owen foil.
@@kiwanoish talk talk for what? Instead of commenting on getting likes and attention because u have been put into adoption couldn’t u search it up in the first place “dipshit”?
