Coconut Whipped Cream
Many people love coconut but many people do not. But nearly 100% of all people - coconut lovers and non-coconut lovers - will absolutely love coconut whipped cream. It is a shockingly delicious treat. Many people who insist they do not like anything coconut change their minds when they try coconut whipped cream.
Now, for the first time ever, you can make your own coconut whipped cream in the privacy of your own home! Even better: it only takes 3 minutes to make your own homemade coconut whipped cream, and it will be 100% fresh and 100% without preservatives. And you can regulate the strength of the coconut flavor and also the strength of the sugar.
There are only 3 ingredients used to make coconut whipped cream: heavy whipping cream, coconut extract flavoring (you can use McCormick’s or Watkins’), and confectioners (powdered) sugar. You will probably want to start by using one cup of heavy whipping cream, one teaspoon of either McCormick’s or Watkins’ coconut extract flavoring, and one-third of a cup of confectioners (powered) sugar. That will make a very, very sweet coconut whipped cream. Kids will love it because it is so heavy on the sugar - most professionals would use only 1 or 2 tablespoons of sugar, whereas one third of a cup is equal to 5 tablespoons.
There is one key thing you should do to make your homemade coconut whipped cream great beyond all imagining: add toasted coconut flakes (see separate video on how to make toasted coconut flakes out of a bag of coconut flakes). Toasted coconut flakes elevate coconut whipped cream from a great treat to a world-class treat!
No one you know has ever had coconut whipped cream. After you have made homemade coconut whipped cream, you will be the envy of your neighborhood! Entertain all your guests with it. They will think you are a cooking guru, a dessert genius!
The second time you make it, you can increase the amount of coconut extract flavoring that you use - to perhaps one and a half times the usual amount or even double the usual amount. Likewise, you can increase or decrease the amount of confectioners (powdered) sugar that you add.
Come up with some imaginative ways to serve your homemade coconut whipped cream to your family and guests. Use it as a topping or use it as an independent treat.
Get creative: add some “Coconut snacks” or “Coconut Chips” to your coconut whipped cream.
And for a real treat, add a Pepperidge Farm crème filled Pirouette wafer or a Benton’s crème filled wafer roll (in flavors like: French Vanilla, Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Hazelnut). Add some sprinkles for extra color and fun. Add some American flags or maybe a parasol for decorations.
