@@ArtyHome I'm planning to get the KG521 and modify it. I saw on your videos you used two washers of 0.7mm, creating a 1.4mm in total. I found a 1.00mm and I saw the machine comes with a 0.5mm, I guess it would do it :-)

Excellent video, I have the same equipments, my question is that delonghi dedica grinder in which level do you use for this video? I suppose in 1, the minimum for espresso? I hve a bottom less filter and I don't get that cream. Thanks and good video.

He's modded the steam wand with a rancilio steam wand instead of the stock one and he uses an aftermarket unpressurised basket and bottomless portafilter. You don't need the steam wand mod if you buy the Dedica Arte though as it has a professional steam wand

That's a nice portafilter for the dedica, where did you get it? I got a bottomless from eBay but there is a big gap between the basket and the bottom of the portafilter so it's not easy to see the flow without bending down

I got it from eBay a few months ago. It's made in China and doesn't have a brand.

I have the same issue, I want to try to set machine temperature at medium level, hope it helps but this issue is pretty annoying let me know if u sort it out!

@@AndreaDellaCorte-qg2zg I think I solved it - the thing was that I missed the phase when you need to fill your milk with enough air. So you need to sink the tip of your wand just a little bit - it should be making sounds of cutting paper (it’s a matter of practice to find out how long you need to do that) and then you can go deeper to create a vortex. I hope I’ve made myself clear.

You're killing your espresso shots😨 Just a tip for new at-home baristas, your shots will be much smoother in taste and you won't get as many bitter notes if you: Step 1: Steam Milk Step 2: Brew Espresso Step 3: Incorporate Milk with Espresso (20 second time frame before shots begin to die and get bitter)
