Just ordered one of these! Thanks for making this guide. Going to have to check out your Stumptown Coffee now too, any suggestions on what would make a great cold brew?
Ummm…. the brewing process is where the name comes from. It is not quick using the hot water. It is using water that is NOT HOT to steep the grounds for hours or a day at a time- therefore cold brew. Most let then put it in the fridge to steep.
@@carrington2949I used to steep on the counter but I like it better in the fridge. Takes a bit longer but I just make it in the morning and leave it for 24 hours. It seems to irritate my stomach a bit if it brews on the counter but not if it brews in the fridge. But you are correct. It’s called cold brew to contrast from hot brewed, not necessarily because it’s brewing in the fridge as many people brew on the counter.
