Shopping List: Ingredients - Bake at 375 for 25-30 mins
1 lb large shrimp
8 oz crab meat (lump or claw)
10-12 oz fresh spinach
1 lemon
red pepper flakes
4 oz cream cheese
2 cups half and half
3 tbsps butter
1-2 tbsps flour
2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1 tbsp better than bouillon chicken base (optional)
1/2 diced yellow onion
fresh parsley
1 tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, cajun seasoning (to taste)

Try using cheese cloth or even a clean kitchen towel to dry the spinach! Works faster! Also, paper towels ain’t cheap! Lol

Over the last 30 yrs I've found a kitchen towel squeezing every bit of water out of spinach works great. I twist it until ya can't twist anymore.

That's a good idea, coffee filters. I may also try to spin dry the spinach in my salad spinner/dryer thingy but yes filters!!!

I am going to make this recipe 4th or 5th time. I always forget the steps and revisit your video every time I was going to make this dip. It’s the best and the yummiest dip ever. In restaurants they don’t have crabs in crab dip and in this dip all you can feel eating is crab. I can’t get over this recipe and my kids love it so so much. Thanks a lot for sharing

Thank you for amazing recipes. I will definitely make this recipe. Suggestion: put spinach between two paper towels and use a rolling pin to absorb ALL the water from spinach. I double the paper towels. I do this when I make quiche with spinach as one of the ingredients.

How long do I cook the dip in the oven?

All ingredients are already fully cooked before you put it in the oven, including the shrimp. I sautéed them before mixing them in, so just until the top browns mainly around the edges.

Made this, except I used a LB of good crab, & a little less shrimp.... Was one of the BEST dips I've ever experienced. ... My family was blown away.... We are from the Chesapeake Bay & this meal hit the spot.... My only wish was that I could've made this for my Grandfather before he passed away. He would've tore this dish up.... @mrmakeithappen I made this to bring in NEW YEAR 2023🎉🎊🎉🎊✨✨ It came out perfect. It was everything that you said it would be. It was so so so good. I had the French Baguette bread but couldn’t wait to prepare so I used my Tostitos Scoops. I got the full on mouth burn because I couldn’t wait for it to cool down and this was so tasty. So good I will be making again for MLK DAY. I just needed a reason. It was so good. Thanks so much for sharing this. Oh and my presentation was on point. The bubbly cheesy golden brown topping. My personal tweak: do up some panko bread crumbs with light dusting of Old Bay and add melted butter to make a crumb topping. Add that and then top with a little more cheese. Flavor is as flavor does!

Yummy! Tip: inspect your crab with your fingers and don’t just dump the container. Sometimes there are shell fragments and isn’t fun to bite into a shell😊.

Just made this for work’s potluck. I taste tested while on the stove. The only thing changed is the Old Bay Seasoning. You omitted from the ingredients so I didn’t pick it up. I still think it taste great. I want to try it with it next time. Oh and you added a lemon on your ingredients but didn’t show when you add it. So no lemon was added to the dish. Still my favorite chef. Thank you 🙏
