It was wonderful. I made it Your way the first time... With a lovely salad! ** I don't give it my touch until the second time I make it. I sliced up baby portobello mushrooms and sautéed them with the garlic step! That was the only addition i made.(I am a 🍄 lover) THANK YOU! Yum!❤

@ Tammy if my parmesean cheese did not melt what should I do differently? Only thing differently I did was saute shrimp vs chicken. The cheese kinda clumped instead of melting into a creamy mixture. Pls let me know. Thnx!

@@pamelawhite4947 As soon as you notice lumps forming in the cheese sauce remove the pan from the heat. ... Add a few drops of liquid (pasta water or milk) and that should help Pamela. Also, maybe it’s the brand or blend of cheese.

I was also thinking maybe I added the cheese too fast. Nevertheless I'll try it again. Thank-you!! 😘

Hi Tammy, I’m new to your site. You got me when you said that you love to use heavy cream over half and half, I subscribed. Now, I’m happy found you. I don’t make it often but, I was making chicken Alfredo and, I wanted to jazz it up a bit differently than I usually do. You Got Me… I love your site. BLESSINGS TO YA🙏🏽GIRL. I always have an issue of the butter burning. Adding the butter to the oil is a great tip.

Interesting what was done abroad, outside of Italy, with the name "Alfredo”. Completely different things from what Alfredo had created here in Rome (in the Alfredo restaurant) in Italy. And that is “Fettuccine burro e parmigiano“ (fettuccine butter and parmesan cheese). 😊
